The House Cut
The basis of our house cut was created as a natural consequence of the essence of our existence. It captures timelessness and elegance by leveraging centuries-old traditions of tailoring. We utilise lots of handwork, both for aesthetics and function. This can for example be seen in the buttonholes, the collar attachment and the armhole construction.
The shape of our house cut was created to ensure a timeless and elegant silhouette. We believe our products should not only be durable in quality, but also enduring in style. That is why we have created a style that is as beautiful now as it was sixty years ago, ensuring you will be able to wear our tailoring for many years to come.
Full canvas construction: a full canvas construction adds durability to the garment, as well as more comfort over time.
Soft shoulder: a soft shoulder line gives shape to the wearer, while ensuring a comfortable and contemporary fit
Subtle waist: our waistline follows the natural line of the body, creating shape and body without causing hindrance to the wearer. We believe you should be able to wear your jacket buttoned for the entire day, without feeling constrained.
Low button: to accentuate the length of the wearer and create an elegant, elongated silhouette, we utilise a lower button closure.
High rise: a higher waist creates a more comfortable trouser that adds more visual length to the legs of the wearer, creating a better silhouette.
Full cut leg: to ensure comfort we cut our trousers with a generous foot opening, while following the natural lines of the wearer.
