The process

We offer both bespoke and made to measure for our Handmade in Italy -line. The process will look slightly different for either option.

Made to measure:

• Step 1: Understanding the occasion for the garment

• Step 2: Fabric selection

• Step 3: Design options (limited to pre-designed options in our house-cut pattern)

• Step 4: Taking measurements using a sampled try-on suit

Around eight weeks after your order has been placed, your suit will be delivered in a finished state. We will then conduct a fitting, making sure the garment fits well and meets expectations. This step usually requires minor finetuning, such as hemming the trousers, tweaking the sleeve length or adjusting the leg opening. If this is the case, we will conduct a final fitting, approximately one week later.

Bespoke

• Step 1: Understanding the occasion for the garment

• Step 2: Fabric selection

• Step 3: Design options (limitless, as the pattern will be made just for you)

• Step 4: Taking direct body measurements of the body, accompanied by photos

After six weeks we receive the basted garment for your first fitting. It is important to note that this fitting is mostly for the tailor, as nearly everything can still be adjusted. However, we do want your feedback for some more personal notes on how you like your garment to fit. We will take some measurements again, more photos and – if necessary – videocall the head cutter of the garment to make sure we get all the details right.

Five weeks later, we receive the finished garment. In some cases, the garment needs to be tweaked ever so slightly. This will take a maximum of one week. This means that the minimum delivery time for a finished bespoke order is twelve weeks.
